Adventure mini!

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share an adventure mini book that I made using The Paper Bakery scrapping kit "Welcome Home". My main staples for this little adventure book was made using the sticker book and neat kraft pp included in the kit.

I then decorated the cover using some of the other sweet embellies, that came with the kit. For my pages, I decided to showcase some of our adventures from this year. I thought this would be a good way to hold the fun adventures close to our hearts.

These are the first couple of pages. I thought I'd document the new garden that I put in behind our garage, which was made from dividing other plants from our yard. I also wanted to get in a page of zip lining that hubby and I did. Loved it...soooooooooooooo much fun!

Here are a few more pages. Hubby and I went to Vermont to take pics of the leaves, which are just gorgeous at this time of the year. We ended up going to this super neat country store and then came upon some wine tasting....what a fun day! Yeah!

I invite you to take a peak at the wonderful DT inspiration and kits at the Paper Bakery here. I know you're going to fall in love!

Thank you for stopping by, and have a wonderful day!

Z&Z sewing inspiration!

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share a sewing inspiration board that I did for my sewing/craft room with my amazing Zeus and Zoe kit. For this board, I  took an old music sheet, sewing pattern cover, sewing directions, a button,  hook and eye pack, and an old vintage cloth, all from the kit, and then I  adhered it onto a board. Since I love, love, love anything vintage, I thought this would  give me some inspiration while I'm creating something.

closeup of the awesome hook & eye pack...yes!

This kit is just  loaded with gorgeous vintage and vintage style goodies that are so easy to use!

CSI & OUAS combo challenge!

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share my take on case #39 Color Stories Inspiration and Once Upon a Sketch combo challenge. This is the last of their combo challenges...I've really enjoyed them. Yup, this one is a tad quirky, but that's just it...I feel like sometimes I need to let loose and let myself fly! Lol!!!!

the challenge:
For the evidence and testimony, I used a leaf, a bird, stars, bits & pieces, wings, a piece from a book page and the words learn and fly, and of course the awesome sketch by Nadia!

Z & Z inspiration board!

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share an 'inspiration board' that I made using numerous goodies from our Zeus and Zoe kits. Yes, I decided that I would like an inspiration board for my craft room....one that I could change up depending on what I find inspiring, what I'm working on, or just simply things/pics that make me happy...
I started with a 'pants hanger', sanded it and then applied paint to it. Then I added goodies from my kit...an old check, a receipt, flower, and beads. I attached the hanger to a blackboard, and then added one of Marivic's gorgeous tags (I love vintage), the lasest things that I've been working on, pics, tags, etc. The fun part of this, is that I can simply change it up as my mood changes and new events take place. Yeah!

Notice, the gorgeous tag that Marivic made...a real beauty, isn't it!

To have a peak at these gorgeous kits, I invite you to visit the Zeus & Zoe Etsy shop here.

Scrap Friends guest designer!

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share a lo that I did, for the latest sketch, as a guest designer for Scrap Friends. I just love their sketches...so electric if you ask me! Hubby and I went zip lining a few weeks ago and when I got the sketch, I thought 'oh how perfect this sketch is for that'...it shows action with the swirls. I then decided to use accents that would enhance and decribe the rush of zip lining so I added the plane, a bird, and a coffee packet...yeah!

Yup, that's me in my zip lining gear! Lol!

Isn't this sketch amazing!
